Parent Resources

The University of Arizona Office of Early Academic Outreach provides parents with two unique engagement opportunities to support their knowledge of the college going process.

The College Academy for Parents (CAP) is a comprehensive 12 week program that works with elementary school parents as they develop a college plan for their children.

College Knowledge for Parents is a college preparation program for 8th graders at no cost. Parents of student participants will receive information regarding transitioning to high school, in-state college admissions, and financial aid.

A program of the UArizona’s College of Education Project Outreach Familia, the College Academy for Parents (CAP) is a comprehensive college preparation program designed to empower parents and families to advocate for their child's success in entering college. We believe that it's never too soon to start preparing for the college journey. CAP is here to support both students and their families as they navigate the college preparation process. This program is primarily for parents of high school students and is offered in both English and Spanish.
