Name of Activity: Arizona High School College Relations Council Conference

Description of Activity: The conferences take place each September in Northern Arizona, Maricopa County and Pima County (generally at The University of Arizona campus) to kick off the new school year and recruitment cycle. Description of Activity: This website was created in close consultation with current high school counselors to serve the needs of students and counselors throughout the country. The site includes high school and state recruiter assignments and information about admission processes, financial aid and orientation. In addition, the site includes links to assist students in writing the personal statement for admission applications.

Name of Activity: Various high school counselor meetings/luncheons

Description of Activity: Throughout each academic year, high school counselors are invited to breakfasts and lunches to receive updates and/or learn more about UA. Example: Flagstaff area, Yuma area, Tucson area, Maricopa county, etc. In addition, Admissions team members attend high school counselor and administrator meetings to kick off each year and by request. Description of Activity: The University of Arizona's Office of Admissions offers a variety of programs and events year round. Description of Activity: Admissions counselors visit high schools throughout the state on a regular basis. In addition, team members attend hundreds of college fairs each year to provide UA materials and answer questions. Description of Activity: The University of Arizona hosts approximately 8-10 online chats per year. Chats range in topic from the admissions process to next steps for enrollment to student involvement. Special chats also take place for special populations including: freshmen, transfer, international, high school counselors, and parents.

Name of Activity: School Group Visit to The University of Arizona Campus

Description of Activity: Interesting in bringing a group of students to campus? Let us know! We will set up a full day of events based on your students' requests. The day visits usually include an academic session (one or two depending on availability), information about campus involvement, a campus tour and an admissions presentation.

Restrictions: Open to all. Available one to two days per month. Schools may join others in this visit.
