PCC Financial Aid Programs
Scholarship Description: At Pima Community College you have access to an affordable, high-quality education. Don't let a lack of fund keep you from reaching your goals! There are options available to help you cover tuition, including:
1. Financial aid which consists of scholarships, grants, campus employment and loans. Funds for financial aid come from the federal government (the largest provider of aid), the state government, Pima Community College, and private donors.

PCC Scholarships & Grants
Scholarship Description: The Pima Community College Foundation office offers a variety of scholarships for students attending PCC. The following is an overview. For detailed information on the scholarship criteria and application process, go to www.pima.edu/scholarships.
1. PCC Foundation Scholarships: Many scholarships are available through the PCC Foundation. Some are general scholarships, while others are based on program of study or merit. Applications for most scholarships are due by June 15. For a listing of the PCC Foundation Scholarships go to www.pima.edu/foundation/ways/scholarshipapp.
2. PCC Student Grants Program: This program provides full or partial tuition and fees, and/or a textbook stipend to qualified, selected applicants. Applications need to be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the first day of the semester.
3. Chancellor's Recognition Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to well-rounded graduating Pima County high school students who have shown academic competency and made contributions in several aspects of academic and civic life. Applications are due in March.
4. Raytheon Scholars Program: This program accepts 10 students per year and offers a number of benefits to successful students. Applications are due in March.
5. Other Scholarships: Funds are available through community groups, organizations, and companies outside of the College. The financial aid office receives information periodically about available scholarships in the community. Check with the campus financial aid office for the latest available information.

General Scholarships
Scholarship Description: The Foundation Scholarship Committee reviews applications for scholarships that have general criteria or that cut across several programs or campus. For a detailed listing on these scholarships, go to www.pima.edu/foundation/ways/scholarshipapp/types/General.shtml.
Health-Related Profession Scholarships
Scholarship Description: The PCC Foundation manages scholarships for the Health-Related Professions Department. Automotive, Industrial & Technical Education
Scholarship Description: The PCC Foundation manages scholarships for the Industrial and Technical Education Department. PROGRESS! Scholarships
Scholarship Description: Students who complete the PROGRESS! class become eligible for scholarships. You may apply every semester that you meet the qualifications. Scholarships range from $400-$800 for enrollment in 6-12 credit hours. Occassionally larger scholarships are awarded when donors stipulate specific amounts.
